Days of Play--Rainbows

Fall is nearly with us.  Say goodbye to summer by making a rainbow.

You will need:
  • old magazines
  • scissors
  • pencils/crayons
  • paper
  • glue
What to do:
Draw a blank rainbow on the piece of paper.  Show your child each color that is in a rainbow (remember ROY G. BIV?).  Now have your child look through magazines and cut out colors that go in the rainbow.  Cut and paste a beautiful rainbow collage.

When you are done, consider writing an acrostic poem to ROY G. BIV
