Your Words

Not an overwhelming response last week but I'll give it one more shot.

If you were going to get a tattoo (or another tattoo), what would you get, where would you put it, and why?

Need some inspiration?  Feast your eyes on this.  Maybe not ...

  1. Love the last photo...that is great! Hmm...don't know that I would ever get a tattoo. Maybe some flowers around my ankle.

  2. After not having the best experience in the world with a many tattooed woman, I have realized just how trashy tattoos can look. I think I'll keep my skin just the way God made it. If he would have wanted a dragon wrapped around my torso, he would have put it there.

  3. I gotta tell ya, ever since you changed your feed settings so you can only read the first few lines instead of the entire post, I haven't been as avid a reader. I know it might be lame that I'm too lazy to actually click on the link to go to the blog itself in order to read the post, but there it is. Maybe it's just me.

  4. Although hubs has a tat, I do not. And I am not a big fan, but if I were, I'd be all over that tongue thing. That is a work of art!

  5. I definitely want a tattoo. So does Matt. I have wanted one for about 7 or 8 years & still haven't done it. I want it on the top part of my foot underneath my toes, curving around the side of my foot. I want it to be meaningful & beautiful & tell a story about my journey with Christ. I have never seen a design that I know is exactly right though so I just wait & maybe one day I will feel more inspired to go get one. Not sure I will ever actually do it. Matt wants a tattoo of the verse Micah 6:8 or something representing it.

    How about you, Reagan? Are you hiding some ink somewhere?

  7. Jeff and I both want to get tattoos but we are both still undecided. I want something to honor the kids. I think Jeff is going to have my picture put on his arm (totally kidding). It will be awhile before we have any inking done and this time I will be way more selective about who is doing it. Are you thinking about getting more?

  8. @Deb--Sounds nice :)
    @Rachael--You didn't get a dragon? I did. Ha ha!
    @Felicia--changed it! Thanks for the heads up!
    @Jami--fair enough
    @Shelly--be patient till you find what you want. And here's what I always told students: "If I wanted you to know whether or not I have a tattoo I would have put it where you could see it." :)
    @Mandy--What? Skulls and roses don't feel infinite to you?
    @Randean--Jeff should get the lawnmower one :)

  9. Between the pain and the idea of being a tattooed Grandma, I don't think I'll ever get inked. :)
